We require Trust Grade F2 Level ( Non Training) doctors.

Join us and help us provide this vision to a population of more than 440,000 people. Our Trust is one the of area’s biggest employers, running hospitals in Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole as well as community services. The area boasts rolling hills, hidden valleys, towns and villages that are not only steeped in history but offer affordable housing and excellent transport links.

We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to join the clinical team in Acute Medicine.

Based at either Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby, and Scunthorpe General Hospital, we are looking to recruit F2 level doctors to join our existing team within the Acute Medicine Department. The role includes a full on-call rota.

This post is not recognised for training and cannot be signed off for achievement but you will be encouraged to attend departmental teaching for professional development.

Main duties of the job

Our team of highly trained and experienced Acute Care Physicians are continuously looking for opportunities to develop and improve services and promote innovation. We are looking for individuals who are keen and interested in delivering care for patients in the ever-changing and challenging environment of modern-day healthcare.

As Teaching Hospitals working with the Hull York Medical School, we both lead and contribute to research in many areas - biomedical research, primary care, palliative medicine, cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, vascular surgery, cancer surgery and oncology.

The post would suite an enthusiastic team player dedicated to high quality patient care. The successful candidate will always work alongside consultants, specialists and specialty doctors, to train and carry out the following tasks:

1. Undertake a daily ward round of the allocated bed base
2. Review all new medical admissions when rostered within the timeframe of the operational standard for the AAU until patients are either discharged from AAU or transferred to the specialty ward.
3. Manage short stay acute medical admissions
4. Deliver effective, safe, and timely care in line with the operating standards of the AAU
5. Ensure appropriate handover of care at the end of a shift to the next responsible clinicians.
6. Ensure timely completion of all documentation pertinent to an admission, transfer, discharge, or death, in line with hospital standards.

Essential criteria

7. •Registerable Medical Degree, e.g. MBBS
8. •Full registration with the GMC and a license to practice
9. •Eligibility to work in the UK
10. •Has achieved first year of Internship/Foundation training
11. applicants have undertaken undergraduate medical training in English; or •have the following scores in the academic lnternational English Language Testing System (IELTS) – Overall 7.5, Speaking 7.5, Listening 7.5, Reading 7.5, Writing 7.5
