Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across secondary schools and specialist SEN provisions in Pembrokeshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils aged 11–16, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), in both mainstream and specialist settings.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils within secondary mainstream classrooms and/or specialist SEN provisions
* Work on a 1:1 basis or with small intervention groups
* Assist students with ALN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and moderate learning difficulties
* Support behaviour management and engagement strategies
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
* Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role of Teaching Assistant, you must:
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced Child Only DBS certificate
* Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (or be willing to register)
* Be able to provide 24 months’ worth of professional references
* Have the right to work in the UK
* Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
