Job Overview
As a Technical Support Engineer you will drive the execution of the V&V IT strategy by delivering digital solutions that enhance business performance and meet user needs including: fixing, improving and / or transforming current digital capability in accordance with the V&V IT systems roadmap.
Responsibilities
* Capture and maintain customer requirements throughout the solution lifecycle
* Develop and evaluate system concepts using systems engineering methods
* Identify and mitigate risks through RRMS processes
* Define system architecture and solutions aligned with business objectives
* Lead design reviews with Technical Councils and High-Spots
* Create and manage system verification plans
* Coordinate system implementation and modifications to meet customer goals
* Collaborate with testing teams and engineers to support product validation
* Monitor system health and schedule maintenance activities
* Investigate and resolve system issues affecting test operations
* Track system obsolescence and contribute to improvement planning

Preferred Qualifications
* Degree level in Engineering or equivalent
* Experience in relevant domain is preferred but not essential
* Good communication, presentation skills and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
* Understanding of calibration and metrology to support Rolls Royce in engine testing
