As a Bodyshop Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bodyshop, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. Duties:
8. Organising the bodyshop operations by managing the status of each repair job
9. Conducting daily progress meetings with technicians and support staff
10. Ensuring all equipment and tools are maintained and in good working order
11. Managing waste materials and utilities, maintaining a secure workshop environment
12. Overseeing all shop floor procedures and ensuring accurate completion of job cards
13. Liaising with technicians and management regarding quality issues and customer updates
14. Supporting the team to meet the highest standards of technical quality and customer service
Requirements:
15. Qualified to NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or ATA recognised standards in vehicle body repairs
16. Proven experience as a Bodyshop Controller, Workshop Manager, or Quality Controller within a bodyshop environment
17. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple repairs efficiently
18. Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and quality standards
19. Full UK/EU Driving Licence
20. A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to motivate a team
