Within the Fexco Group, the UK Retail Foreign Exchange (RFX) Division is one of the UK’s largest independent providers of foreign exchange services. CEC Ltd delivers accessible, customer-focused travel money services through a network of 64 own retail locations and 170 agents across the UK. Our services are delivered under several trusted retail brands, including the well-known No1 Currency, which is recognised for its strong presence and reputation in the travel money market. In January 2026 RFX will be integrating the Sainsburys Travel Money Business into its network.
The Sainsbury’s Travel Money business is a profitable, well-run operation with strong brand equity, a large customer base through supermarket customers and Nectar will add 226 stores and c850 employees and supports our growth strategy by expanding geographic reach within the UK, leveraging a strong consumer brand, and adding complementary digital capabilities. It positions us for long-term leadership in UK retail FX, creating a business model and vision of the future matching Sainsbury’s own ambitions, keeping both organisations motivated to build something together.
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a hybrid role based in our London Hammersmith office.
Job Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead on our recruitment strategy and plan ensuring we attract, hire, and retain top talent in the Retail Division. This role involves designing and delivering recruitment strategies and plans, managing the full-cycle recruitment process, and partnering closely with hiring managers and leadership to meet organisational workforce needs. In addition, you will lead a small team of onboarding/recruitment specialists.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and drive a forward-looking talent acquisition strategy that aligns with business objectives and helps us meet our big picture goals.
2. Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing and assessment through to selection and onboarding—ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
3. Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing talent acquisition team, fostering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
4. Deliver an exceptional onboarding journey that enables new recruits to integrate quickly and feel connected from day one.
5. Partner strategically with hiring managers to translate workforce plans and role requirements into effective hiring solutions.
6. Adopt innovative and diverse sourcing methods—leveraging networks, social platforms, talent communities, and referrals—to attract exceptional talent.
7. Provide market insight and talent trends to hiring managers and leaders, helping them to make insightful workforce decisions.
8. Analyse and report on recruitment and onboarding metrics such as time-to-hire, retention, and engagement, using insights to optimize performance.
9. Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to ensure readiness for current and future hiring needs.
10. Uphold compliance with employment legislation, right-to-work requirements, and advance our diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments.
11. Collaborate with HR and senior leadership on workforce and succession planning initiatives.
12. Contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance the organisation’s talent capability and culture.
Qualifications and Experience Required
13. Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, CIPD or related field preferred
14. Proven experience (5+ years) in in-house talent acquisition within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
15. Background in sectors known for dynamic, customer-facing recruitment such as retail, hospitality, contact centres, or logistics, with experience spanning both frontline and office-based roles
16. Experience leading recruitment and/or onboarding teams.
17. Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, onboarding processes, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HRIS tools.
18. Demonstrated success in developing recruitment strategies and employer branding campaigns.
