Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in the Wallingford area, who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children.
* Providing one-to-one and small group support, particularly for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
* Working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored learning interventions
* Supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing and promoting positive behaviour
* Assisting with classroom routines and ensuring all pupils are included in learning activities
* Creating a safe, encouraging and engaging learning environment for all children
* A patient and positive approach to supporting children's learning
* Experience working with primary-aged pupils, especially those with SEN, is highly desirable
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and staff alike
* A proactive attitude and a willingness to adapt to the needs of individual pupils
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* A minimum daily rate of £90, increasing with experience
* Personalised support from a dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant
* Access to training including Safeguarding, Autism Awareness and Behaviour Management
* Weekly pay through PAYE - no umbrella company fees
* Long-term placement opportunities with the potential for permanent roles
