Morrison’s Academy is proudly the only all-through independent day school in Perthshire, offering outstanding education to boys and girls aged 2-18. The school combines Nursery, Primary, and Secondary education on one campus, fostering a family-oriented community. Catering for about 400 students and staff daily, it offers core lunch services and excellent hospitality. The position is Monday to Friday during term time, with free parking available.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly team at our prestigious Perth location.
Your role will be crucial in maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Key skills:
* Experience in pot wash duties is advantageous
* Excellent customer service skills
* Team player mentality
* Assist chefs with food preparation
* Maintain high cleanliness standards
* Clean and maintain kitchen equipment
* Operate industrial dishwasher
We are looking for:
* Experience as a Kitchen Porter is preferred but not essential
* Positive can-do attitude
* Good organizational skills
Knowledge / competencies:
* Good verbal English skills
* Basic written English and reading skills
* Experience in customer service or food prep environments is a plus
