We are the largest inland wave pool in Europe, next to Europe’s largest indoor climbing arena. The resort comprises three open kitchens, a bar/café, an in‑house market, an adjoining private event space, and a public event programme. About the role
Fixed term until the end of September 2026, full‑time (40 hours per week).
The Food & Beverage Team Leader helps lead, motivate and ignite passion and drive within our F&B team members, cultivating a vibrant work culture, running shifts, delegating responsibilities, and offering guidance and training whenever needed.
What you will be doing
* Deliver day‑to‑day F&B operation and events programme at Lost Shore Surf Resort (LSSR), Edinburgh.
* Lead the F&B front‑of‑house (FOH), events and kitchen porter (KP) teams.
* Ensure a fantastic visitor experience in F&B and events, maintaining safety, hygiene and legal compliance.
* Report to the F&B Manager, Floor Manager and Assistant Manager – a supervisory role.
* Collaborate with the F&B management team to exceed visitor expectations and foster a vibrant atmosphere that keeps guests returning.
* Cultivate a safety‑first culture, enforce health and safety protocols, licences, permits and handle incidents with poise and precision.

Additional Information
Flexible working schedule is required. The resort operates seven days a week; early morning, late evening and weekend work will be required to ensure smooth operation during peak times.
Responsibilities
* Help set up and organise events.
* Maintain staff standards – uniform and service.
* Organise shifts.
* Maintain presentation and cleaning standards of the restaurant.
* Delegate jobs to staff when they are not busy.
The pay range for this role is: 13.38 – 13.38 GBP per hour (United Kingdom)
