Make technical operational decisions without supervision, having the freedom to act independently using knowledge, skill and experience of a senior IT specialist within the Trust; adhere to Trust policies and procedures.

Provide technical advice as required on server hardware and software and communicate this clearly and concisely.

Provide comprehensive technical application support to those user departments whose databases or files are held on the Trust servers but not covered by third party support contracts.
