The Role:
We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled driver/ operative to join our team. This full-time position involves the logistical assistance to the construction and maintenance of our footways & carriageways, contributing improvement of our local infrastructure.
About You:
We’re looking for a physically fit individual with proven experience working on highways and operating HGV’s highway plant and machinery. A full understanding of relevant health and safety regulations is essential.
You’ll be enthusiastic, motivated, and well-organised, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. The ability to work effectively within a team is crucial.
Requirements:
Competence in operating highway plant and machinery (in which applicant is trained)
Full understanding of health and safety requirements
Full UK driving licence (Class C 1)
CPCS training would be preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
