Mechanical Fitter (Plant) – Avonmouth, Bristol
Salary: GBP 60,693.75 per year (GBP 22.50 per hour base rate for first 42.5 hours, 1.25x after) + Company Van + Fuel Card + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday 06:00 to 16:30
Role
Mechanical Fitter required for a leading processing company located in Avonmouth. This role involves proactive and reactive maintenance on recycling processing equipment and machinery including loading shovels, telehandlers, mini diggers etc. You will also be involved in ongoing project work. This is a static role based at the company site in Avonmouth. A work van is provided to bring tools to and from work.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out proactive and reactive maintenance on recycling processing equipment and machinery
* Greasing machinery, gearboxes, belts etc.
* Working with telehandlers, loading shovels, mini diggers etc.
* Participating in ongoing project work
* Working on static and mobile plant
