Are you ready to optimise our supply chain and ensure smooth operations for train care?
We’re looking for an Inventory Planning Manager to lead demand planning, forecasting, and stock optimisation within our engineering department. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the right inventory levels to support our train care operations, developing strategies that minimise stock outs, reduce excess inventory, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

* Driving Inventory Excellence? Developing and implementing inventory policies aligned with maintenance schedules and ensuring stock optimisation.
* Analysing Supply Trends? Monitoring inventory performance, adjusting forecasts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise inventory strategies.
* Enhancing Supply Chain Efficiency? Working alongside engineering and procurement teams to improve operational workflows and drive better decision-making in inventory management.
* Supporting Digital Transformation? Contributing to the evolution of inventory management through system improvements and digital solutions.
Are you:
* Experienced in Inventory Planning? You have expertise in inventory forecasting and planning, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes.
* Analytically Skilled? You’re confident working with large datasets to make informed decisions and optimise stock levels.
* Tech-Savvy? You’re familiar with ERP/MRP systems like SAP, Maximo, or Coupa.
* Experienced in Rail or Engineering? While not essential, experience in managing spare parts in an engineering or rail environment will be beneficial.
* Qualifications in Supply Chain? A supply chain or logistics qualification, such as CIPS/CILT Level 6, is preferred but not essential.
