The opportunity

We are seeking an FP&A Modelling Analyst to bring strong analytical capability, advanced Excel expertise, and a proven ability to build and interpret complex financial models.

This is a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, evaluating business performance, and delivering meaningful commercial insight across the organisation.

The Benefits

1. Salary:£50,000 to £60,000
2. Bonus scheme: On-target bonus (7.5%)

Key Accountabilities

9. Build, enhance, and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and scenario analysis
10. Develop dynamic models to support strategic and commercial decision-making
11. Translate model outputs into clear insights, highlighting risks, opportunities, and actions
12. Deliver detailed sensitivity, variance, and scenario analysis
13. Produce high-quality reporting, dashboards, and forecasting outputs
14. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning and reporting cycles
15. Partner with Finance teams to support delivery of the Value Creation Plan
16. Apply advanced Excel techniques (Power Query, Power Pivot, macros, dynamic arrays, automation)
17. Leverage BI tools and financial systems to improve efficiency
18. Ensure strong data integrity, governance, and model documentation

What will you need to succeed?

19. Proven experience in FP&A, Financial Modelling, or Commercial Finance
20. Advanced Excel skills with strong modelling expertise
21. Experience in forecasting, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis
22. Experience creating dashboards or automated reporting
23. Ideally ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or working towards)
24. Financial Services experience beneficial but not essential
25. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
26. Ability to build and maintain complex financial models
27. Confident communicator, able to present insights to finance and business stakeholders
28. High attention to detail and accuracy
29. Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and quantify risks and opportunities
