Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Conveyancer
5+ Years' PQE | Peterborough or Stamford | Hybrid
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected regional firm seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their established Property team.
The Role
1. Permanent, full-time position – .5 hours per week
2. Monday to Friday, 9:am to 5:pm (including a 1-hour lunch break)
3. Hybrid working available following a settling-in period
4. Some travel required, with occasional out-of-hours attendance for networking, meetings and training
Key Responsibilities
5. Manage a diverse residential caseload, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
6. Handle complex matters such as Shared Ownership, New Builds and Lease Extensions
7. Progress files proactively, liaising effectively with all parties to ensure smooth transactions
8. Resolve title defects and technical issues promptly
9. Advise on matters involving personal representatives, attorneys, trusts and matrimonial issues
10. Complete post-completion work independently
11. Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
12. Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed
13. Develop and maintain strong local professional networks
Candidate Profile
14. Qualified Solicitor, Licenced Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive
15. Minimum of five years' PQE or equivalent relevant experience
16. Proven ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision
17. Extensive technical conveyancing experience, including complex transactions
18. Commercially aware with excellent client care skills
19. Confident user of case management systems and Microsoft Office
20. Organised, analytical and composed under pressure
21. Strong local knowledge and professional connections within Peterborough or Stamford
