GBP 39,799 : GBP 41,894 per year
40 hours per week : Monday to Friday : 8:00am to 4:30pm
We are looking for an Electrician to join our team, based in Glasgow. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance repairs and certification as required for these works. You will work with other operatives to ensure the work is done to a high standard but also will be lone working therefore using your own initiative is essential. Full training will be provided along with a company van and tools for company use. Based at Sanctuary Property Services, Glasgow you will cover sites across the county.

Inspecting and testing void properties, ensuring safety and compliance

Maintaining electrical installations in void properties, ranging from light fitting to partial/full rewires

Monitoring and maintaining good levels of van stock and ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a suitable condition

Completing all paperwork and producing certification associated with works undertaken

To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to BS5839:1, 18th Edition : 2nd Amendment, BS5839:6, NVQ Level 3 or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
