Job Summary
We are looking for a 6 session Salaried GP to join us.
Watling Street Practice is a partnership of 11 Partners and 11 Salaried GPs working across Milton Keynes. Our three sites are located in Stony Stratford, Great Holm and Shenley Church End.
Main Duties
We are a busy practice yet friendly and supportive. All doctors share on‑call shifts and we have a team of 5 GP trainers. Training of GP registrars is a priority; we hold twice‑monthly education meetings and encourage all clinical staff to run events and present learning.
You will primarily work from our Stony Stratford site, visiting the other locations each week.
Salary, Sessions & Working Pattern
Conversations around flexible working and compressed hours are encouraged.
* £11,000-£11,600 per session, per annum (depending on experience)
* 6 sessions per week
* Working days: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
* Practice sites open 7 am–8 pm; you will be included in the coverage of early and late sessions on a rotational basis
* Expectation to work 2–3 Saturdays per year
About Us
We are forward‑thinking and closely partnered with our ICB, leading to the development of a community Dermatology Clinic. Our PCN provides centralised HR, payroll, bookkeeping, scanning and workflow support, and hosts a range of allied health professionals—including nurses, social prescribers, a social work assistant, mental health services, a podiatrist, physiotherapy, pharmacists and paramedics. This integrated environment reduces pressure on clinical teams and supports all patients, especially those at risk of avoidable hospital admissions.
We deliver all Enhanced Access commitments and welcome GPs interested in additional skills such as Minor Surgery, Women’s Health or ENT.

Essential
* MBBS & MRCGP
* GMC registration
* Evidence of specialist training/certification (where applicable)
* Evidence of Defence Union cover

* Care home experience
* Training experience
* Mentoring experience
