SLR’s GDS team provides expert support and advice on GIS, geospatial data analysis and bespoke digital tools development across the full range of technical disciplines offered by SLR. They work on multidisciplinary projects alongside other technical disciplines as well as standalone GDS projects for a range of external clients. The role As a Graduate CAD / BIM Technician your role will be to provide CAD and BIM support to the Senior Geospatial & Data Solutions group and wide variety of Technical Disciplines within the Europe Region. The role will include: Preparation of plan and detail drawings from engineering sketches Preparation of vehicle tracking analysis Data management of incoming & outgoing information Developing a career pathway in Civil 3d modelling Supporting senior members of the team in production of Civil 3d modelling Supporting CAD / BIM Strategic Lead in maintaining and promoting CAD standards, best practice and processes Managing procurement of site data, such as stats searches, topographical surveys and OS data Working alongside GIS colleagues to share project information and ensure its accuracy Working collaboratively across ArcGIS Online and the Autodesk Construction Cloud to ensure projects use data from single source of truth Supporting onsite surveying works Working with the rest of the team to deliver projects to tight deadlines and budgets Adhering to QA process and standard for data management and drawing outputs Contribution to the smooth operation of the CAD / BIM team through active participation in team resource calls, supervision systems and knowledge sharing About us SLR are global leaders in Sustainability Solutions, helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals.
