We require another office assistant to help with the growth of our already rapidly expanding business.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Utilize Sage for financial transactions and bookkeeping tasks
- Type and proofread documents, reports, and correspondence
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and making travel arrangements
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person or department
- Assist with organizing and maintaining office files and documents
- Utilize Google Suite for email, document creation, and collaboration
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and reorder when necessary
* Stock take and some warehouse work may be required.
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role preferred but not essential as
training is provided.
- Proficient in data entry and using computerized systems
- Familiarity with Sage for financial tasks is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in using Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) for email and document management
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
