The Opportunity

We are looking for a Regional Director for the Public Sector in the UK to seize a massive market opportunity. Yosh.AI has already delivered transformative results within the UK public sector—most notably our success with the West Sussex County Council, where we deployed a series of Gemini-powered products to transform citizen engagement, social care and communication.

Your mission is to scale this success. You will lead our expansion across the UK Government and Public Sector, leveraging our Premier Partnership with Google to deliver the AI solutions that the public sector urgently requires.


What You Will Do

Strategy & Leadership

* Scale Proven Success: Leverage our successful case studies (e.g., West Sussex County Council) to replicate AI transformation across other councils, NHS trusts, and central government bodies.
* Google Partnership Leadership: Act as the primary lead for our cooperation with Google Public Sector teams in the UK. Co-sell and co-innovate with Google to position our Gemini-based solutions as the standard for public service automation.
* Market Strategy: Shape the direction of the go-to-market strategy for the UK Public Sector, defining target accounts and engagement models to drive hyper-growth.

Business Development & Sales Execution

* Drive New Business: Systematically identify, qualify, and close complex high-value deals with Public Sector organizations. Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closure.
* C-Level Trusted Advisor: Cultivate trust-based relationships with C-level executives and public sector leaders, helping them navigate the shift to AI and understanding their mission-critical priorities.
* Tender Management: Lead Yosh.AI’s responses to complex public sector tenders (RFIs, RFPs) and navigate relevant procurement frameworks (e.g., G-Cloud) to ensure compliance and success.

Collaboration & Evangelism

* AI Evangelism: articulate the unique value of products and proprietary technology powered by Google Gemini models to non-technical stakeholders, demonstrating how advanced AI solves specific public sector challenges.
* Cross-Functional Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our Product, Customer Success, and Google Cloud engineering teams to build targeted messaging and map customer journeys specific to UK public services.


Who You Are

* Public Sector Authority: You have 3+ years of experience in B2B technology sales or business development specifically within the UK Public Sector. You possess a deep understanding of public sector buying practices, frameworks and decision-making processes.
* Tech-Savvy Leader: You understand the transformative power of Generative AI (Gemini) and Cloud technology. You can confidently discuss how AI agents and automation reduce costs and improve citizen satisfaction. We will support you in the development of this knowledge in case this is a new area for you.
* Proven Closer: You have a track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
* Partner-Centric: Experience working with or within the Google Cloud ecosystem (or similar hyper-scalers) is highly desirable. You know how to leverage partner networks to accelerate deal velocity.
* Strategic Thinker: You can look at a success story like West Sussex County Council and visualize a roadmap to roll that solution out to the entire country.
