Receptionist - Construction
Location: Darlington
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum
Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic construction company? We are currently recruiting a Hire Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service within our hire desk department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with hire orders and enquiries.
* Take and process hire orders accurately and efficiently using inspHired software.
* Coordinate and schedule deliveries, pickups, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
* Create and manage invoices and send them to the accounts department for processing.
* Follow up on outstanding invoices and liaise with buyers to ensure timely payment.
* Maintain records and databases related to hire transactions.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, ideally within the construction or hire industry.
* Proficiency in using inspHired software (or similar hire management software) is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
