Year 5 Teacher Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (April 2025 - July 2025, with the possibility of extension) We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our Outstanding school from 21st April 2025 until July 2025, with the potential for the role to be extended. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons that align with the national curriculum for Year 5. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive academically and socially. Assess and track student progress, providing targeted support and intervention to help pupils achieve their potential. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, ensuring a high standard of teaching across the school. Work closely with parents and the wider school community to support the academic and personal growth of each child. What We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Key Stage 2, with a preference for Year 5 experience. A passion for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to nurturing the potential of every student, helping them to achieve their best.
