Full job description

We are looking to recruit a well organised, friendly team player to join our well established team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to managing office tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment, providing administrative support and maintaining effective communication within the team.

Hours can be very flexible to fit in with the right person such as 9am - 12pm / 9am - 1pm, or could be 2 or 3 days a week and is office based. The successful candidate will require their own transport due to the remote location of our office.

Duties will include:

* Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organisation.
* Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Assist with collating all timesheets ready to pass to payroll.
* Provide HR assistance including drafting of letters, processing new starters & leavers.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and promptly using Sage Line 50.
* Process invoices and manage basic accounting tasks.
* Assist the landscaping department with estimating, typing up quotes and invoicing.
* Maintain filing systems and ensure all documents are organised and easily accessible.
* Provide clerical support, including typing correspondence and managing schedules.
* Collaborate with team members to facilitate communication and project management.

Experience / skills required:

* Previous office experience is essential, with a background in administrative roles preferred.
* Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Sage Line 50.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Experience with Sage Line 50 is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Demonstrated clerical experience with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
