Overview
MATERNAL FETAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN role at Montefiore Health System. The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health (OBGYN & WH) is seeking a dynamic Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to join the faculty of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Medical Staff of Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, New York. The successful candidate will join the Maternal Fetal Medicine Division within one of the largest OBGYN & WH departments and residency programs in the country. Experience and expertise in fetal medicine/ultrasound from an AIUM certified facility is preferred, along with a strong aptitude for, and commitment to, high risk, complex cases.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care in Maternal Fetal Medicine and work closely with highly trained Generalist OBGYN partners throughout the prenatal and post-partum periods.
* Take primary responsibility for patients with significant co-morbidities.
* Collaborate in fetal medicine/ultrasound services, preferably with AIUM certification.
* Co-manage the Labor & Delivery service across two hospitals with level 3 and 4 NICUs, averaging 5,100 total deliveries per year.
Division & Department
The Division provides a wide range of high-risk reproductive care services and fetal medicine ultrasound diagnostics across three campuses. The department has a large residency program and multiple fellowships, including MFM, with strong emphasis on education and research.
Qualifications
* Completion of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
* Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
* New York Medical License (or eligibility).
* Experience and expertise in fetal medicine/ultrasound; AIUM certification preferred.
* Action-oriented, natural educator and mentor, innovative, collaborative, and committed to social justice and service.
Environment & Schedule
Location: Bronx, New York. Division of General OBGYN. Work shift: Day. Work days: Mon-Fri. Scheduled hours: 8 hours per day. Hours vary.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $340,000.00 – $425,000.00. In addition, the role offers opportunities for increased income with call responsibilities and productivity incentives. Benefits include LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision, and a 403(b) plan.
