Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a market leading business in Wrexham to recruit a Management Accountant. You will lead a small and capable accounts team responsible for delivering all core financial processes across the business.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the upkeep of purchase, sales, and nominal ledgers.
2. Lead the month-end close cycle, including preparation of journals, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and necessary adjustments
3. Deliver monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts, with clear analysis and insights.
4. Develop, track, and report on budgets and forecasts to aid strategic planning and decision-making.
5. Oversee cash flow management, ensuring accurate forecasting and sufficient liquidity for operational requirements.
6. Manage payroll and pension processes, maintaining compliance with HMRC and relevant legislation
7. Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, as well as profit and loss and balance sheet reports.
8. Administer online banking, including the preparation and authorization of payments
9. Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and financial stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
10. Provide weekly financial metrics and commentary to enhance leadership visibility and performance monitoring.
