Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various fabrication techniques. This role involves assembling and welding components to create high-quality products, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
* Assemble components using hand tools and power tools to fabricate products according to specifications.
* Perform Stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts effectively.
* Work with sheet metal, ensuring accurate measurements and cuts for optimal assembly.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.
* Utilise basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during fabrication tasks.
Experience
* Previous experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential.
* A solid understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to interpret technical drawings is highly advantageous.
* Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
