Hours: 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm/4.30pm
Hybrid: 1 day in the office, 4 days home-based with regular travel across the County

Role Overview:
Seeking a Perpetrator Support Practitioner to work with high-risk/high-harm perpetrators of domestic abuse through targeted one-to-one work. This service is part of a national project aimed at improving the safety of victims and children by holding high-risk perpetrators accountable. The project combines case management with a multi-agency coordinated response.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work individually with high-risk perpetrators identified through MARAC or the Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Panel.
2. Provide intensive support to promote attitudinal and behavioral change.
3. Assist clients with practical needs impacting their behavior, such as substance misuse, mental health, finance, and housing.
4. Make referrals and link clients to additional services.
5. Collaborate with agencies to develop strategic intervention plans addressing needs and risks.
6. Work closely with IDVA services to review risks, develop safety plans, and improve outcomes.
7. Deliver long-term outcomes, typically over 3 to 12 months, to facilitate behavior change.
Training & Travel:
Extensive training will be provided, including potential accreditation opportunities. The role requires travel across Oxfordshire; candidates must have a driving license and access to a car.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Passion and commitment to working within a multidisciplinary team.
2. Experience working with complex service users, preferably in domestic abuse, mental health, substance misuse, or related fields.
3. Understanding of domestic abuse and its impacts.
4. Must have a valid driving license, access to a car, and a DBS check on the update service or issued within the last 12 months.
