A highly successful team, Corporate Finance Advisory, completed 258 deals with a total deal value of £15.4bn in 2024 and was named the Number 1 M&A Advisor in the UK by Pitchbook. We comprise approximately 135 advisors throughout the UK, combining strong regional presence and sector expertise with our international network and additional routes to market, such as Debt Advisory and Public Company Advisory.
We work with mid-market companies on growth and exit strategies, building trusted relationships with our clients and helping them identify appropriate transactions for growth, whether through private equity, debt funding, or public markets.
For this role, you will support deal teams in preparing and executing business sales and acquisitions, employing your financial and negotiation skills to facilitate deal completion. You will be part of a collaborative team that values success and strives to make a positive impact on the economy and communities.
Role Overview
As an Assistant Manager or Manager in our Corporate Finance team, you will:
* Support transaction execution across multiple projects, impacting clients and our firm.
* Work through the full client project lifecycle, from sourcing to completion, alongside peers and senior leaders.
* Assist in analyzing financial and commercial data, drafting memoranda and marketing materials, and preparing client presentations.
* Contribute to company valuations using various methodologies.
* Collaborate with sector teams to develop industry-specific expertise.
* Drive your own development with support from your manager.
Qualifications and Skills
Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA, CIPFA, CFA) or with relevant M&A experience. Skills include:
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
* Understanding of financial statement analysis and modeling
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment
* Experience in UK professional services or advisory firms is preferred
