Offer description

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual with a passion for sales and technology to actively introduce and promote our extensive cables and accessory products to new and existing customers. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships within your portfolio of assigned customers and proactively ensuring the achievement of sales targets on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis. You will liaise between your customer base and internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products and solutions. You will be focused on achieving KPIs and committed to continuous professional development, learning the key features of the technology we provide. Bonus structures are in place for achieving targets and new business.


Role Responsibilities

* Achieve monthly sales targets.
* Maintain proactive telephone contact on a daily basis.
* Seek new business (White Space) by prospecting existing and new customers.
* Meet and exceed agreed performance objectives and KPIs.
* Maximise sales by expanding opportunities with upsell and cross-selling.
* Keep systems up to date for all communications and customer profiling.
* Manage quotations accurately and timely, building a pipeline of opportunities.
* Provide accurate proposals, collateral and other information to customers.
* Develop product and technical knowledge to industry standard, including vendor accreditations.
* Manage pipeline and up-to-date quarterly sales plan with SMART objectives.
* Communicate and articulate our value proposition and strategy to prospects and customers.
* Act as an ambassador and representative to ensure a professional image for the company.
* Develop excellent relationships with allocated customer contacts and use all sales support resources.


Qualifications

* Relevant Bachelor's degree desired but not essential.
* Knowledge and experience within IT sales and distribution (Vendor or Reseller).
* Minimum three years experience in an internal or field sales role.
* Commercial and business awareness with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Outstanding organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively.
* Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, face-to-face and remote.
* Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
