Commissioning Engineers – Water Infrastructure Projects (Outside IR35)
Location: Various sites around London
Contract: Long-term freelance / Outside IR35
Rate: Competitive day rates (dependent on experience)
Deliver Excellence in Water Infrastructure Commissioning
We’re looking for experienced and motivated Commissioning Engineers to join major water infrastructure upgrade programmes across the Thames Water region and beyond.
These roles are suited to engineers with a strong MEICA commissioning background particularly within wastewater treatment, clean water, or pumping station environments—who can deliver to high technical and safety standards.
The Roles
We have multiple long-term contract positions available, including:
* Commissioning Engineer – (wastewater treatment upgrades)
* Commissioning Engineer – London / M25 corridor (clean & wastewater network projects)
* Lead Commissioning Engineer – Framework delivery teams (project integration & testing leadership)
All positions sit outside IR35, offering strong continuity of work within the AMP8 investment period (2025–2030).
About You
You’ll bring:
* Proven experience in MEICA commissioning within the water sector (clean or wastewater).
* Ability to manage FAT/SAT, ITPs, and full system handover documentation.
* Strong understanding of process, electrical, and control systems integration.
* Excellent coordination with design, delivery, and client representatives.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and ability to work independently on live sites.
