What does this role involve?
As an Operational Industry Code SME, you'll use your deep understanding of key energy industry codes (REC, BSC, UNC and DCUSA) to ensure Utilita remains compliant, informed, and ahead of change.
Working at the heart of Industry Operations, you'll maintain risk and impact logs, support operational teams as they embed process changes, and present clear, insightful impact assessments to stakeholders across the business.
You will monitor and assess industry code changes, ensuring compliance; deliver impact assessments and maintain an accurate change register with timelines and impacts. Support audits, provide expert guidance on code obligations, and use internal and industry systems to investigate and resolve compliance queries.

Who are we looking for?
You'll have essential experience within the energy industry, along with strong analytical ability and critical‑thinking skills, that help you break down complex issues with ease.
You'll thrive in a fast‑paced environment, adapting quickly to change and maintaining a solution‑focused mindset. Basic SQL knowledge is desirable, and you'll be confident working with data, identifying trends, and challenging inconsistencies.
