Senior Supported Housing Officer
Location: Croydon Borough | Full-time, 35 hours per week (rota basis)
Salary: £32,404.74 per annum, rising to £33,700.93 after successful probation

Quo Vadis Trust (QVT) is a specialist housing charity based in South East London. We are now seeking a Senior Supported Housing Officer to join our Operations team.
The role
Reporting to the Housing Manager, you will oversee Supported Housing Officers and Bank Workers across our Croydon schemes.
You will ensure clients receive a responsive, high-quality service that promotes wellbeing and independence. You will also deputise for the Housing Manager when required and take part in the On-Call Management rota.
This role involves regular travel between schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver an effective and client-focused housing support service
Support Housing Officers to set clear, measurable goals with clients
Complete regular audits of Inform, our client management database
Prepare reports on client matters and service delivery
Ensure properties are safe, well maintained and compliant with Health and Safety legislation
Record and report any breaches of policy, procedure or performance concerns
Oversee safeguarding practice in line with organisational policy
Provide supervision to Supported Housing Officers and Bank Workers
Oversee Relief Worker supervision and training
Provide cover across QVT schemes where required
Liaise with external agencies and attend meetings

The person
You will have:
Experience in social housing
Experience in the mental health sector
GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
Strong working knowledge of welfare benefits linked to housing
Good IT skills, including Microsoft packages and client databases
Clear written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Awareness of tenancy sustainment and current housing issues
Enhanced DBS clearance
Flexibility to work unsociable hours as part of the On-Call rota
A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable. Line management experience is also desirable.
