We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join an inclusive and supportive team. You will play a key role in providing high-quality education and tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a SEN Teacher:
* Plan, deliver and assess lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.
* Develop and adapt resources and strategies to support differentiated learning.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to EHCP reviews and annual reports.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues.
* Promote an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
Ideal SEN Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Experience teaching pupils with special educational needs is highly desirable.
* A thorough understanding of SEND best practice and relevant legislation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a SEN Teacher.
* A caring, patient and resilient approach.
* Ability to inspire and motivate pupils with diverse needs.
