We are seeking a skilled Fast Fit Technician to join our team in our busy Dunfermline depot. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and hands‑on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. As a Fast Fit Technician, you will be responsible for performing various vehicle services efficiently and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction through high‑quality workmanship.
Duties
* Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre fitting, brake inspections and MOT repairs
* Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform automotive repairs and services
* Diagnose issues with vehicles using mechanical knowledge and provide appropriate solutions
* Ensure all work areas are clean and organized, adhering to safety standards
* Communicate effectively with depot manager regarding service needs and recommendations
Requirements
* Proven mechanical knowledge with hands‑on experience in automotive service and repair
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
* Experience in vehicle maintenance, automotive repair.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
* Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
