About the Role
The successful candidate will join Nasstar’s Presales team and be responsible for the scoping and creation of technical presales solutions and documentation, supporting the sales community in client engagements.
The role requires a confident, experienced, and self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with clients at all organizational levels in both technical and business discussions.
Central to the role will be the creation and review of compelling solution-based proposals, demonstrations, RFI/RFPs, implementation strategies, designs, and Statements of Work documents.
The role involves liaising with other Nasstar teams including Sales, Bid Management, Product & Propositions, Technical Delivery, Project Management, and Support & Managed Service teams. The candidate must be flexible regarding remote work and business travel.
The candidate should have experience and confidence in advising clients on Wide Area and Local Area Networking technologies, focusing on secure networking concepts such as SD-WAN, SD-Branch, and SASE architectures, including services like ZTNA, CASB, and FWAAS.
Responsibilities
The Customer Solutions Architect will operate in a Presales capacity, engaging at a senior level to define and own the customer's technology strategy. This involves working with customers to shape their thinking and build the sales pipeline. The candidate will handle high-value, complex requests from existing customers and RFI/ITT engagements for secure connectivity products and services, managing the technical aspects of the sales process and creating customer-facing artefacts.
What we are looking for
* In-depth Fortinet & Cisco/Meraki Presales Solutions Architecture experience, specifically in SD-WAN & SASE / Secure Networking.
* Ability to produce sales supporting documentation.
* Leadership in creating responses for opportunities or customer requests, ensuring quality, technical accuracy, and timely delivery.
* Strong client and team relationship skills.
* Experience working with customers and stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
* Confident, credible demeanor to influence stakeholders.
* Ability to mentor other Presales Consultants and support cross-business opportunities.
* Capability to present and facilitate client workshops.
* Technical expertise in the listed technologies and solutions, including Cloud security services, Public Cloud connectivity, and large network transformations.
* Recognized IT certifications from networking vendors like Fortinet and Cisco.
* Experience in working with Managed Network Services and in service transition processes.
