Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Flooring / Tiling All Levels Considered: Junior / Intermediate / Senior Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 per annum (DOE) Location: Essex, with projects across London & the South East Role Overview We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing commercial flooring and tiling contractor based in Essex. The business delivers projects across London and the South East for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Main Contractors, working within fit-out, retail, healthcare, education, commercial and new build sectors. This is a full-time role offering responsibility for the commercial and financial management of multiple projects from tender stage through to final account. The position suits candidates at Junior, Intermediate or Senior level, with responsibilities adjusted to match experience. A commercial construction background is essential, while flooring or tiling experience is beneficial but not required. Some estimating exposure is included, with training provided if needed. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will manage cost control, forecasting and reporting across live projects, including monthly valuations, variations, applications for payment and final accounts.
