Our Compounding team in Thetford is recruiting for a Production Technician for a new, purpose-built department. This role involves supporting semi-automated compounding processes to increase productivity, reduce manual strain, and enable growth to serve more patients.
You will handle daily tasks related to preparation, manufacturing, and inspection of medicines, supporting all aspects of cleanroom production, including aseptic compounding, equipment use, inventory control, and environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with licensing and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-performing team making this new department a success.
Work hours are Monday – Friday, rotating shifts from 06:00-14:00 and 13:00-21:00. Training will be during daytime hours, requiring some flexibility initially. We offer a competitive salary of £25,600, weekly shift allowance of £45.35, and benefits including:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Labeling products according to specifications
* Dispensing and manufacturing in accordance with SOPs
* Maintaining productivity and efficiency
* Controlling isolator inventory
* Sanitizing equipment and components per SOPs
* Routine equipment sampling, maintenance, and testing
* Facility monitoring and cleaning
Experience required:
* GCSE or equivalent in English & Mathematics
* Aseptic technique knowledge (preferred but not essential)
* Understanding of cleanroom protocols (preferred but not essential)
* Knowledge of GMP manufacturing (desired)
* Excellent communication skills
* High attention to detail
* Compassion and understanding of the product's destination (hospitals or homes)
