What you will do
* Provide services in line with statutory requirements and departmental priorities.
* Engage in training and supervision activities for your professional development and career progression.
* Participate actively in team meetings and the emergency duty rota as per your specific role.
* Utilise written recording methods or new technology as appropriate.
* Respond to public inquiries and liaise with external agencies such as the police and health authorities.
* Plan individual client cases, ensuring adherence to professional standards and departmental priorities.
* Implement the Council’s equal opportunities policy in your professional practice and service delivery.
* Make professional decisions within the Department’s priorities framework, consulting management as required.
* Undertake service development tasks and familiarise yourself with all departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
* Degree or equivalent in social work.
* Current registration with Social Work England.
* Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK as a qualified Social Worker.
