About the Role
Our stores are fast‑paced environments where no two days are ever the same. They are at the heart of the local community, providing outstanding value, quality and great service. As one of our Trading Assistants, you’ll be the special ingredient that ensures our stores are set up brilliantly to give our customers everything they come to Sainsbury’s for.
Eligibility
* Minimum application age 18, due to working hours and the type of goods you may be required to handle.
* Right to work eligibility in the UK.
Hours
Working hours are 21:00–07:00, with a range of shift patterns available (e.g., Wednesday, Thursday, Friday).
Responsibilities
* Collect stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15 kg) to replenish a variety of items across the store, keeping shelves clean, tidy and fully stocked.
* Serve customers brilliantly when the store is open, supporting with any questions and proactively offering help.
* Check dates for fresh produce and grocery products.
* Help across the store as needed and support with deliveries as required.
* Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
