Job Details Job Title: Social Work Assistant Salary: £17.10 – £18.76 per hour / £31,219.15 – £34,248.64 per annum Location: Paton Street, Galashiels Hours: 2 x 35 hours per week Contract: Temporary until 29 August 2025 Please note there are 2 vacancies available Role Purpose We are a statutory children and families social work team operating in the West of Scottish Borders. We work out of a Peebles office and a Galashiels office. We are a supportive and friendly team of social workers and social work assistants who are both welcoming and enthusiastic about the roles we undertake and the support we offer.
