Primary Supply Teachers – Lewes
Pay: £130–£140 per day
Hours: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Contract: Temporary – Summer Term 2026
Start: ASAP
Your role as a Primary Supply Teacher would be filling day-to-day, short-term and even long-term bookings throughout primary schools in the Lewes area. You would not be planning, assessing or attending staff meetings but would be expected to mark children’s work and ensure consistency within the classroom, ensuring that pupils receive a consistently high standard of education. You will need excellent classroom management skills and a thorough knowledge of the current National Curriculum. You will encourage positive pupil development and monitor pupils’ progression.

Experience teaching throughout Primary schools
Energetic and positive attitude
QTS
Current DBS registered on the update service or willing to apply
