PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £24,000 - £26,886 + London Weighting at £5319 - depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
EastEnders are seeking a Team Assistant to provide consistent administrative and production support to the Story Producer and Story Department, ensuring the smooth coordination of schedules, forward planning and publishing of the Story Document. As a Story Team Assistant you’ll play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, minimizing disruption, and enabling the creative team to focus on delivering the much-loved drama of Albert Square. You will act as a central point of organization, bringing structure and clarity to the fast-paced, multi-team environment.
We are ideally looking for someone to start 7th July. Interviews to take place w/c 30th June.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
* Coordinate complex calendars for the Story Producer, Story Department and wider EastEnders production, ensuring efficient use of time and minimal scheduling conflicts.
* Organise and lead the logistics for story conferences, production meetings, and team events, ensuring agendas, notes, and follow-ups are handled effectively.
* Track and manage cast annual leave, cast availability and story timelines, supporting the alignment of creative planning with production capabilities.
* Provide consistent administrative support across departments, maintaining documentation, tracking tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, as well as communicating and liaising meetings across the show.
* Act as a central point of contact, facilitating clear and timely communication between editorial, production, and other key stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
* One year’s minimum experience on a broadcast production set, with evidence of clear understanding of production workflows, scheduling, and resource coordination, particularly in a multi-team setting.
* At least one year’s experience in an administrative role with a significant focus on diary management, minutes/note taking, meeting coordinating and conference/event planning.
* Demonstrable strong organisational skills, with evidence of ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and ensure deadlines are met consistently.
* Proficiency with Scheduling and Office Tools, such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, and production scheduling software.
* Evidence excellent communication skills, with clear confidence in liaising across departments, managing expectations, and ensuring clear, timely communication.
Desired But Not Required
* Familiarity with supporting editorial or creative teams in a structured, administrative capacity is desirable.
* Demonstrable interest in the operational side of storytelling and production, with a clear ambition of pursuing a career in production /administrative management.
