Overview
A hugely exciting role that is all about owning the direction of a portfolio of major strategic clients in consumer goods. This means leading the annual operating plan, maximising the deployment of 50+ field sales teams, developing compelling activation and in‑store marketing activities, and making pitches for continued growth to the Boards of those clients. You will transform and inspire a large field and account team to execute ‘best in class’ sales performance and accelerate growth in a market where opportunities are plentiful.
Responsibilities
* Own the direction of a portfolio of major strategic clients in consumer goods
* Lead the annual operating plan and maximise deployment of 50+ field sales teams
* Develop compelling activation and in‑store marketing activities
* Make pitches for continued growth to clients’ Boards
* Transform and inspire a large field and account team to execute ‘best in class’ sales performance
* Accelerate growth in a market where opportunities are plentiful
Qualifications
* Seasoned and experienced commercial manager in FMCG sales with multiple retail or wholesale customer management experience, preferably from recognised CPG brands
* Experience or strong appreciation of sales and marketing communications consultancy services
* Clear thinking, rigor in analysis and decision‑making, and effective communication across large teams
* Passion for driving business initiatives and providing outstanding client relationship management
* Personal drive and the ‘passion’ to make a considerable impact and a name for yourself in an ambitious company
