Duties
* Collect orders from the restaurant and ensure accuracy before delivery
* Deliver food orders to customers within specified timeframes
* Handle cash or electronic payments where applicable
* Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent customer service
* Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times
* Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting if necessary
* Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries
* Keep accurate records of deliveries made and any issues encountered during shifts
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
* Experience in warehouse work or heavy lifting is advantageous
* Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
* Knowledge of local roads and navigation systems
* Physical fitness to handle heavy loads when required
