Vital Healthcare Services Limited is a supported living provider for people with mental health needs and learning disabilities. We support a wide variety of clients with tenancy-based community support and intensive support for adults who have required low-medium secure care for long periods and display challenging behaviours. Intensive support is provided through high-standard care and placements to ensure greater integration into the community.
Job Role: We are looking for a Regional Deputy Care Manager to support our current Service Manager in maintaining our Supported Living Sites across Milton Keynes, Ipswich and Leicester.
Location: Milton Keynes, Ipswich and Leicester areas.
Responsibilities
 * Deputize for the Service Manager and be the responsible manager in their absence, carrying out all duties associated with the position.
 * Communicate effectively with staff, service users, families, and other stakeholders while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
 * Contribute to the delivery of day-to-day operational requirements, quality measurements, and monitoring of services.
 * Ensure all CQC KLOEs are met to a GOOD or OUTSTANDING rating.
 * Continuously analyze service operations, evaluate performance, and implement improvements through negotiation and mutual agreement.
 * Other duties may include recruitment, support planning, shift work, being on call, and support plan implementation.
Requirements
 * Care management experience: 1 year (required).
 * Experience working with people who have Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs, and/or Physical Disabilities.
 * 3–5 years of senior/managerial experience in the sector; professional qualification (NVQ Level 4 or equivalent essential; Level 5 desirable).
 * Driving license (required).
 * Experience in managing budgets and budget control; understanding of Health & Social Care legislation, including the Mental Health Act.
 * Demonstrable evidence of supporting people in a person-centered way.
 * High literacy, numeracy, and administrative skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities across multi-disciplinary teams.
 * Good understanding of CQC compliance standards and commitment to safeguarding.
