We are looking for a dynamic SEN Teaching Assistant with a valid UK driving licence to join an inspiring special needs school in Bury St Edmunds. If you already hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, you can be fast-tracked and start immediately!
About the School
Our school supports 205 young people, from Reception to Year 11 (ages 4–19), all with special educational needs, including:
Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Physical and Mobility Difficulties

What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting pupils with complex needs to access learning and life skills
Assisting with mobility and personal care where required
Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
Collaborating with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support
Using your driving skills to safely transport pupils or resources across the site
What We’re Looking For
Valid UK driving licence – essential
Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred for fast-track clearance
A team player ready to start immediately

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
