Job Title: Autism Assessor
Position Overview:
As an Autism Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments for adults, following NICE guidance. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care, accurate diagnoses, and clear reports. This is a fantastic opportunity for clinicians passionate about reducing wait times and improving access to autism assessments.
Candidate Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed adult ASD diagnostic assessments using recognised tools such as ADOS-2 Module 4, AQ-50, RAADS-R, and CAT-Q.
Carry out clinical interviews, developmental histories, and structured assessments.
Formulate clear diagnostic outcomes and differential diagnoses.
Produce clear, timely, and comprehensive written reports.
Offer feedback and recommendations to service users with compassion.
Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate clinical records, adhering to safeguarding, GDPR, and clinical governance standards.Candidate Requirements:
NMC Registration as a Nurse.
ADOS training and previous experience with autism assessments.
Experience with standardised diagnostic tools such as ADOS, ADI-R, AQ-50, RAADS-R, or CAT-Q.
Commitment to providing empathetic, high-quality care.Benefits:
