Symphony Senior Living Community - Wellness Coordinator
Symphony Senior Living Community is seeking a compassionate Wellness Coordinator. We will teach our systems, programs, and philosophy, but we value compassion and empathy, which are essential qualities for this role.
Symphony Senior Living is a leading provider of quality senior services in Canada, offering private pay services in our beautiful communities. We provide care to residents until the end of life, serving as a true alternative to Long-Term Care facilities. We are not a medical institution; we are a home for seniors of various ability levels, supporting both residents and their loved ones.

Job Requirements
* Reports to the Executive Director
* Skills in assessment, interviewing, counseling, and documentation to meet residents' health needs
* Collaborates with team members to address health outcomes
* Follows up on resident and family inquiries, ensuring health care needs are met
* Embraces validation and reminiscing philosophies for residents with Alzheimer’s or related dementia
* Provides resident-centered care
* 2-3 years of direct care experience
* Prior supervisory experience
* Knowledge of Alzheimer's and related dementias
* Proactive staffing based on occupancy and care needs
* Registered Practical Nurse with current certification from the College of Nurses
* Proof of medication administration competency
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Understanding of the Resident’s Bill of Rights and resident-centered care
* Leadership and organizational skills
* Team-oriented
* Trained in CPR and First Aid
* Fluent in English (written, verbal, reading)
* Computer literacy in Outlook, Excel, Word, and willingness to learn other software
Job Qualifications

* Valid Ontario driver’s license
* Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses
* Availability to work weekends
