Our client is currently recruiting for an Insurance Specialist on a 3 month temporary contract.

The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within Insurance Management, including previous dealings with Brokers, Insurers and Lawyers.
Duties will include (but are not limited to): Leading the insurance function for Homes Operations to ensure appropriate insurance cover is always in place to support the delivery of the Group business plan objectives and Business Continuity plans Assisting the team with a back log of claims, including fire, water damage, subsidence and public liability Developing and maintaining relationships with insurers and consultants, whilst discussing these claims with internal members of staff Delivering training to colleagues including those in Housing Management and maintenance roles to ensure that there is an effective understanding of their role in providing insurers with information in the event of a claim Working alongside our Homes & Finance, Assurance and Governance teams and with insurance consultants as required to support the procurement of insurance contracts Experience required: Experience in preparing and analysing claims Insurance & claim management experience & management of legal claims All sectors will be looked at but Social Housing would be preferred Rewards and Benefits: Fully remote Flexible working days Working hours : 35 hours per week Monday Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
