Kitchen Assistant – Renaissance Care (Scotland)

Role – Kitchen Assistant (33 hours a week)
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious and healthy meals.
* Set up and clear dining areas, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
* Help keep the kitchen and equipment clean and ensure all safety and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.
* Engage with residents to build meaningful connections, supporting a hospitality-style approach to catering.
* Help develop seasonal menus that promote choice and independence for residents.
Requirements
* Good eye for detail and effective communication skills.
* Experience in a similar environment and hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
* Knowledge of correct use of kitchen equipment.
* Understanding of COSHH and HACCP regulations.
