The Roles
We are looking to appoint three highly skilled and motivated Personal Assistants (PAs) to provide high-quality executive support to our senior leadership team:
* PA to the Chief Executive – Band G SCP 32-37 (£42,839 - £48,226 per annum)
* PA to the Assistant Chief Executive – Band F, SCP 26-31 (£37,280 - £41,771 per annum)
* PA to the Executive Director of Finance and Transformation – Band F, SCP 26-31 (£37,280 - £41,771 per annum)
About the Roles
As a Personal Assistant at Sandwell Council, you will play a vital role in enabling senior leaders to operate effectively and efficiently. You will provide comprehensive executive support, acting as a trusted and professional point of contact for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Proactive diary management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements
* Managing correspondence and handling sensitive and confidential information
* Acting as a key liaison point between senior leaders and stakeholders
* Supporting strategic priorities and transformation projects by tracking actions and ensuring deadlines are met
* Ensuring clear communication, effective prioritisation and smooth day-to-day operations
What We’re Looking For
You will have:
* Proven experience providing high-level administrative or PA support, ideally at a senior or executive level
* Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills, with strong attention to detail
* The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* A proactive, professional and solutions-focused approach
* A high level of discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
You will be self‑motivated, able to organise and prioritise your own workload, and confident working with senior leaders.
